It was indeed a fruitful, meaningful tuesday spent...
BUT.........
I FAILED TO GET MY BUTTS OFF TO SWIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How sia... so long never swim liao... HAHA!
LAZINESS+BUSINESS=UNHEALTHINESS
ANYWAYS....
Yesterday i finally went back to school for the fuel station prayer...
although its only 3 of us...
sometimes is not just about the quantity... but the quality...
we kind of spent really quality time with each other before and after prayer...
just by sharing abt our lives during holidays... and sharing with one another our views on different topics... i guess through the conversations kind of lead to what to pray...
for me i wasn't too sure what to pray until when we begin to worship and when God began to speak while we stay quiet and rest in His presence... God gave me a great burden to pray for the Christians on campus... Pray that the Christians on campus will have a greater hunger on campus for our personal spiritual life and also for the lost souls.Praying that we will learn to take risk to share the good news because the lost needs the good news in such a corrupted earth... also praying that as we have the burden to do so, let us not be affected by how people will see us and not to be affected by how temptation will come our way. for everything we do we need to pay a price...
i even shared with them about servanthood... being a servant is never convenient... a servant is like a soldier who is always on standby for duty... so a servant must always be on standby to serve... being a servant of God must be willing to allow God to mess up of schedule... allowing Him to take control of our schedule... **there's always a question deep within me... why some people cannot serve in campus and in church at the same time...** as in not just talking about serving with SCCC but in campus as a whole... madel was asking me how i really manage to do many things and manage my time... priortize well... for every moment... we need to know what comes first... and doing things short and sweet... im pretty amazed by the amt of responsibility im taking up... but what i realized is God never fails to give me more strength to do more things for Him...
im now happily serving Him on campus without STRESS!!!

and i guess through this 2mths of holidays... God gave me opportunity to serve in different areas... i almost said no to almost everything but God help me see my calling again... through devotions prayer and sermons... practically i said yes to many things... infact to all...

Yup... back to the my day... after prayer... we went to Macs for makan... it was like my lunch+dinner... then having some soul time for myself before i went off to meet jincheng after marcus and madel went off...
and so myself and jincheng had a 2 hrs long of meeting... to kind of present what my comm planned last friday... everything was great just that there's a little amendments... hee:) it was a great time together though... we were talking about getting someone to share testimony... we kind of suggested some other people. which we still need to pray about it, but in the mean time... jincheng drop a bomb right infront of me... i ended up sharing with her my RP Experience and transformation... HAHA! indeed CHERYL IS REALLY TRANSFORMED!
Reached hm around 930pm... late dinner... or is it my supper??? HAHAHA! i insisted of eating hm cox mummy cook mah... maybe out of 365days... i will only have mummy cooked food for less than 10times... HAHA! im simply in a "NO COOK HM!"
yep... and so i was doing my powerpoint until i fall asleep... HAHA! so im super early this morning to complete what is to be done... and somemore i did up my new blooger blogskin... amazing... and its only 719am and i finished my super long post too... HAHA!
alright... im going to prepare for Recruitment traning later... seeya... :)

today... met up with bertina and baoling... at ard 11am...
we went for express manicure and pedicure...
my hse there got sales... so no harm trying...
not too bad la...
but im determine to try doing nails in HK in 2 wks time...
after doing our nails...
we trained to EXPO for makan and robinsons sales...
we went to eat at lerk thai... yumyum...
and we spent hours shopping... so happy...
i brought a G2000 top... and a dress from HYPNOSIS... and a G2000 shirt for daddy...
more shopping shd come soon... HAHA!

I'M STARTING!
18 March 2009 (DAY 01)
This is our very first YEIG & SUI! combined overseas study trip... and we are traveling to Hong Kong and Shen Zhen! This is my very first trip with my juniors seniors and peers of YEIG... also Mr Sim... this trip is especially meaningful while travelling with my sticky rice, BAOLING and our dear "bird", bertina... HAHA! Our happiness and excitement is so undescribable... and so we met at 230pm to cab down to T3 for lunch cum dinner at POPEYES... Like i say... i'm very excited cox i'm travelling with my sec friends on a poly trip... But the very first thing we did when we reached the airport was to weigh our beautiful luggage... its was one of my lightest luggage in HISTORY@9.8kg... and with the high-ness we had... we started taking photos... im trying my best to capture every single moments... after our makan we somehow bang into eileen and yiting and their BFs... and we all travelled to T2 and then to Budget Terminal together... This is also my first time going to the budget terminal taking budget airline and walking upright to the plane and climbling up... we also had a great time on the plane... SLEEPING... with my newly brought piglet... and mr sim came and peep at me... OMGoodness... and that bertina went to take a picture of me... towards the last hour on the plane... me, baoling and bertina PLAYED BINGO!!! so fun... while we are about to touch down... but we are still in the sky... baoling said... "i think we landed..." my question is... "how can the plane land without a land?" bertina add-on... "ask baoling!" HAHA! and we finally touched down... and after going through the immigration it was already 12midnight... and somehow we ended up at gate 12... then we traveled to our 5-start hotel... not very 5-star also... after checked in we went to our room... all of us had our supper... we were all hungry... after awhile we realised that our room had some problems... so we change our room to the so called "PRESIDENT ROOM" haha... settled down and only slept ard 340am... HAHA!
19 March 2009 (DAY 02)
Early morning at 715am... i went to gave morning call to the gals... then all of us met at 8am for our buffet breakfast! YUMYUM! so many place i travelled to... china has the most healthy food... LESS OIL LESS SALT LESS SUGAR! after breakfast all gathered at the lobby and waited for the bus to come... today will be a time to all the IT Places... Now, at 945am we are on our way to the IT(MOUSE) Factory... around noon.. we arrived at the "IT" WORLD... it's a stretch of road of IT Wholesale buildings, in another words, its also the IT "ORCHARD ROAD". I guess it was really amazing by the price of things we get from there. ive gotten a webcam for S$12.40, A 4Gb MP4 for S$31.60, a 32Gb thumbdrive for S$22.60. all u need to do is to go and bargin and check that the goods are workable! we also had pretty good food... we tasted their la mian, xiao long bao, fried and steam dumplings. and also porkribs with GLOVE! we ate alot of things but at a very cheap price... After the IT Wholesales we went to the Gifts and stationary wholesales. they really sell alot of soft toy, ranging from the smallest to the largest. as small as a key chain to as huge as my dear piglet at hm... and our very dear and kind mr sim brought soft toys for HE'S DEAR YEIG GALS! so i got a cute PIGLET... and there were also shops selling bags... i brought a bag for S$6.80 and it has a laptop conpartment as well... after which we travelled to DONG MEN NIGHT MARKET... Once again we were brought to a good eating place... the only comment have about food there is that its either extremely healthy/oily/salty... HAHA! this night market that we shopped in is very similar to our very "BUGIS STREET" just that it is 2-3 times bigger. not too bad... but thank God for mr sim by being there making sure of our safety. and from there i brought a pair of converse shoe for S$27.10. after one whole day of fun, laughter and shopping we are all tired! **HOTEL-SWEET-HOTEL**
20 March 2009 (DAY 03)
today is a exceptional day... that we got tobe up really early. cox we are travelling out of shen zhen to HONG KONG! Everyone is full of excitement... first we tour around kowloon area... initially our first stop was a clothing wholesale place but when we reached we realised we are too early and its all not opened... so everything is pushed foreward... so our official first stop was the Jade Market... somehow it gave me a very different experience of how it was like. cox in HK drama, when they feature the jade market is like in a open space and vendors place the jade on the ground but the one i visited was like those wet market kind of settings back in SG! but i didn't buy anything from there. i feel very uncomfortable, very gods feeling... After which we drove "UNDERWATER" our so called CTE to the HONG KONG ISLAND... we drove up to the peak... that was really a great scenery... then after that we drove past ocean park and floating restuarant... then next stop was to standley market... nothing much there also... after that we went to "lan kuey fong" its like our SG's clarke quay... in between we had our lunch... they ordered too much food i guess... i mean too much VEGETABLES... one thing i realised... out of 8 dishes 4-5 dishes are VEGE... and ppl in YEIG dont take VEGE... mr sim, bertina eileen and agnes... and then kayden sally and yun yann had a quick lunch and they went off for shopping... and the poor me baoling and yiting tried our best to finish up the food... and once again i mean the VEGE! and im amazed by the number of bowls of rice mr sim ate... i went WOW! at night... we went to the ladies market... we spent alot of time there... but i only brought a wallet... haha... for S$12... then we went pass this bing jia... and i brought 2 boxes of lao pao bing... for S$9.60... and we wentt for late dinner and then met the rest of the people... and once again... **HOTEL-SWEET-HOTEL**
21 March 2009 (DAY 04)
we had early breakfast... and is also our last breakfast... after breakfast we went back to our room to withdraw our luggage... then check out... then after that we set off to go OIL PAINTING VILLAGE... brought a few paintings... nice nice ones... brought 4 paintings... for S$15.80... then after that we had lunch and this resturant with broken utensils... haha... after lunch we head down to DONG MEN again... to shop... and the real shopping spirit of me really came... i brought 2 purse, 3 bags, 1 top. we also a great finale dinner... part of it sponsored by mr sim... and after that we rushed our way off to the airport... only reach SG Airport at ard 4am... thank God my uncle came to fetch me... if nt i dont think i will make it to church on time...
at the end of this trip... i really understand why goods are MADE IN CHINA... and the culture of the chinese... and also when u stay with the people for a few days u will understand their behavior, their likes and dislikes...
I thank God for my dear YEIG people whom made this trip special and a joyful one for me... also thank God for the advisors... i definitely learnt something meaningful...
** side note... i thank God on sun morning i made my way to church... at 7am when my alarm rang... i was like... shd i go or not go... somehow i got a thought that... since im so tired my as well just sleep in... but i thank God i went... cox i rmb telling God that i will go... i want to stay faithful... so i went... i know i didn't make the wrong choice... cox the word sink right into my heart... something for me to learn this week was... FEAR AND OBEDIENCE!!! i knew very clearly from what God has spoken... i needed to fear God more... and obey God without procrastination... and always let my YES BE AN YES AND A NO BE A NO!**

i got all my specialization and electives that i chosen...
but somehow... i have friends in all classes la...
and for the first time... im changing class everyday!!!!

I foresee many challenges...
i pray that God will lead me through the next 6 mths...
In Him only i shall trust...
I'm super excited...
I'm flying off tomorrow liao...
Off to Hong Kong and Shen Zhen...
Its gonna be shopping time...
Time away from stress and work and IG and many times...
That i can just rest... and hopefully meet God face to face...
The best time for me meet God when im the most relax...

3 GREATEST SHOCK OF THE DAY!
Firstly... i was almost late for service... but thank God i wasn't... my first greatest shock was went i stepped out of the lift... Thanks to Jessica... the cute little gal... she suddenly jump infront of me and "BOOM!" and i was in great shock... thank God i didn't had a heart attack...
Secondly... once i stepped into shalom hall... i got another shock... cox... wanting's mic went haywire... it went "BOOM!" ALSO... lol... service started slightly late cox of that mic... haha...
Lastly, after communion... pastor daniel came up with a mic... i was expecting him to say that... "let's sing our closing song..." instead... he said... "today, we want to pray for cheryl cox she's leaving for HK and SZ..." there and then i got another shock... haha...
But don't worry... im still alive and sound now... HAHA!
But i thought today pastor tang shared a very good word...
many times we said we want to be sinless...
many times we proclaim we are God's temple...
but so many time...
we also misuse His temple... we do things out of convenience and not commitment... the
attitude that we have is not right... sometimes even with no respect...
sometimes we can even go to an extend of misinterpreting what Jesus is saying... sometimes we look more into a more of a outward transformation rather than an inward one...
we can at times mistake the Lord's salvation... we even forgotten why Christ died on the Cross... i was then reminded again... Jesus died so that we can have a direct relationship with Abba Father...
i really pray that i will be more concern about my walk... Jesus doesn't want to see all these... although we are not perfect... but we can always try our best and God will do the rest...
I thank God I have a beautiful Savior... Hallelujah! :)

finally everything ended early yesterday so that i can go to church for cell...
thanks to my gals that bring joy and laughter to yesterday's cell...
i thank God for weekends...
its really time i could say i see and feel the joy... its the best part of everything...
like today... i enjoyed myself at church... spending half my day at church...
had a great prayer meeting... staying in the presence of God... seeking His face... experience Him... its really a WOW! and guess what... i went for BASIC VOCAL CLASS! steping out of my comfort zone... HAHA! but i enjoyed myself...
then after church i met up with zhang for some junk shopping... then went shop around.... and i found a bag that i like... its a nike bag... for $79... im considering of getting that... also saw a nice and good quality puma jacket... i really hope to get that... then... guess what... after that Cheryl went to cut her long long hair and it became a short short hair... lovin it... and zhang went with me... hee:) then head home...
zhang came to my hse to be a free labour... she helped me to pack my room and prepare it for tomorrow's recruitment comm meeting... thanks zhang... i owe u a good gift from hk... hee:)
im all ready and excited for my trip... hee:)

Friday afternoon... meet bertina and baoling... we went to queenstown polyclinic...
baoling and bertina went to take vaccine and i went to see doctor...
me sick ah... i suppose take jab also... but no need liao... haha...
when we reach bertina's face change totally man... haha...
went to look for jie jie also... haha...
then after that we went to bugis...
shop and shop and continue shopping...
then after that went to amk hub... then daddy came and fetch me hm...
i felt so bad... didn't go for cell on friday... was pretty sleepy... cox sick mah... HAHA!
Saturday... early in the morning...
me... went to church for prayers...
i dunno... although i kind of lost my voice during prayers...
but somehow i found back my true-self during prayers...
and dani kind of like prayed prayed for me before we close the whole prayers...
whatever she prayed i could only say that God is so real...
He spoke through Dani... those words are indeed was in my heart and what i desire to do...
Thank you Lord!
then after prayers went to office with the rest to get the bulletins really for sunday's svc...
then went behind church for makan...
then off to meet karen...
sunday morning...
i was a little bit late... Oops...
God save me from my late-ness please...
then fellowship awhile with my cell gals... they are great ppl...

we went to IKEA!!!
it was a great trip... did not buy alot... but...

ended up spend time with my daddy mummy...
we went chinatown to have breakfast....
then daddy went work...
me and mummy went shopping...
i got a top... mummy paid...
then went people's park complex... walk around...
saw PSP... $199 only... thinking of getting that...
then after that daddy came to fetch us... when to the stall for a while...
it reminds me of the growing up days...
this is the place and things that grow up with me... i have a wild dream...
to have my wedding there... think too far liao...
today finally went back to work...
left office ard 9.... reach home at ard 10pm...
day in day out...
oh ya... we went to do posting...
and my hands are swollen... pain pain...
i applied for a 2 weeks off...
gonna enjoy life for the nxt 2 weeks...

Although this week there's no NUS project which only resumes next week...
But office ppl are in a war...
we are trying to send out all NUS reports this week...
plus other projects for other companies...

and the number of phone calls im making is way so many...
and im someone who hates calling ppl unless the person i call is my best friend!
the world is turning around!
as work gets hectic!

it helps me understand something im always puzzle in...
i use to ask when i read this verse saying... work out your salvation with fear and trembling ... i ask God, God u are so contradicting... u say that no good works can gain salvation cox salvation is from u... but now u ask me to work out my salvation with fear and trembling... now i got what God meant... He finally answered my question after so many years...
salvation is from God, and from the day when we trust and believe, He have given to us... the point is not getting salvation now cox i already have... the point is to develop it, develop what i already have!
GOD I GET U! TIME FOR ME TO DO SOME WORK OUT! THANK YOU DADDY GOD!

Working life is so crap...
so tiring...
my work started around 630am yesterday...
was out of hse ard 535am... thank God Uncle Richard fetched me la...
if not i would have fainted or something...
stayed in office to finish up my work till abt 830pm!
coming home... staring at my com... more problems to solve...
cox having matriculation mtg later...
i pray hard that everything will just move on smoothly la...
i pray God will really give me patience...
i hope i won't explode later....
i really hope that i get my break soon...
traveling out of this little red island for 5days...
im exactly 3 weeks away...
i will fly in 3 weeks time!
im actually thinking if i shd continue to work after i come back...
lets just look at the brighter side of life!
and i believe all these things that im going through, God has not meant to harm but to prosper me and give me a hope and a future... i thank God for this! seek Him and i shall have rest!
The things that make me smile is that when...
1. finish piles of work
2. Go home by 7pm
3. The delicious curry puffs
And i kind of happy with next week's schedule...
out of 7 days... im only working for 3 days...
its time that cheryl takes a break...
but one of the days adelene put me onsite... and we need to reach at 615am... so supper early can... but she say she will ask uncle richard to fetch me... thank God!
and i was given this special Father's letter...
i think its so meaningful... i almost cried while reading it...

I had a quite good rest-ed day on saturday...
I was in office in the morning... finish my work around 12plus... but actually only suppose to leave ard 2pm... but i finish all that i need to do liao... HAHA...
So i bus-ed home... im now a good friend to mrt and bus... HAHA!
reach hm, go get lunch eat liao slacked around... "the only day i can do that!"
then some how i fell asleep around 3plus...
guess what... i woke up at 1045pm... cox im like super hungry...
just nice daddy mummy came come... so mummy cook maggie mee for me...
but i felt so sinful... cox im like taking supper... haix... nvm la... long long once...
and so my S-U-N-D-A-Y!
was super fun-filled! and super packed!
morning qiong out for service...
then fellowshipped... had lunch...
then home-ed to prepare some things for the Ex-W194 Gathering...
Then qiong out again at 2plus for Recruitment Comm meeting...
Then qiong to meet my ppl at 6pm...
So basically was a qiong-ing day la...

on the way we were deciding where to go next...
after that we decided to go MARINA BRIDGE! the place is very very nice...

For consecutive 3 days... wake up at 4am and leave hse at 515am... is super tiring...
then i think i really need to thank God of karen and her aunt...
for allowing me stay over at the aunt's place...
However God is good... cox He put me in office on thurs-sat... PTL!

finish my work around 330pm... VERY HUNGRY!!!(b4 i started, some colleagues had carl's jr and kfc... once again i survived!) so i went to grab a packet of milk... and hazel just can't stand me being so healthy... but i told her that i dont want to eat OIL!
totally sinful during dinner... had dinner with MP, ah... the shark fins make me so sinful... but i skip a few dishes... to sinful liao... i kick off my fav. prawns, fried wu xiang, kong ba bao and dessert... i only ate shark fins, fish, chicken and vege... tmr gonna be a greater day...
now im considering if i shd still go for reunion dinner with the crusaders... zi cha...
im feeling totally great now...
